Job Requirement:

• Certificate of Qualification in Ontario.
• Successful completion of an electrician apprenticeship program.
• 1+ years of electrical contracting experience
• Valid driver’s licence, clean driving record, and reliable transportation.
• Eager to learn and gain practical hands-on work experience. 
• Strong knowledge of the Ontario Electrical Code. 
• Able to work in confined spaces or at significant heights. 
• Effective written and verbal communication skills. 
• Committed, reliable, resourceful, and able to take and follow directions. 
• Punctual, organized, and able to operate tools and equipment safely. 
• Good understanding of electrical theory.
• Able to read and understand electrical drawings, diagrams, blueprints, and schematics.
• Able to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Able to lift and carry 50+ pounds.
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Job Responsibilities:

• Install and maintain electrical wiring, control, and lighting systems.
• Inspect, repair, and replace electrical components and equipment.
• Perform general electrical maintenance and corrective/preventive maintenance on electrical systems, electrical panels, and circuits.
• Inspect, test, diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical system issues, safety hazards, and malfunctions.
• Follow the OESC (Ontario Electrical Safety Code), local building regulations, and safety procedures for every installation and repair.
• Manage job details, review daily tasks, and follow up with clients.
